My goal is to bring a new awareness to Martial Arts as we know it. Martial Arts are not only for fighting and self-defense; it is for developing the Physical Body and strengthening the Mind and the Spirit. We must become aware of the life force energy, or Chi, that is in every living being; and see it as a gift to be treasured and cultivated. Through the practice of Tai Chi and Chi Kung one can learn to take control of the Physical and Emotional Body and use this Chi energy to heal the body and elevate spiritual growth and confidence. With this new awareness, we can look forward to better health, both physically and mentally by preventing illness and promoting healthy habits. For businesses, this will result in reduced employee absence. Employees who are happier and less stressed are more creative, productive, and alert. Martial Arts can be an excellent discipline for children, and have shown a positive effect on ADD and the emotionally impaired. Training helps our young people to build self-esteem and confidence, to develop better character and motor skills, thereby becoming better at anything they wish to do. This harmony of science and energy is wonderful for children and adults, both young and old. Consider Tai Chi for Quality of life!

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at dmdixson@hotmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Tai Chi is a series of postures formulated to build strength, flexibility and coordination while promoting good health through the conditioning of chi or the body's own bio-electric, magnetic energy

Qigong is the practice of conditioning one's energy focused on a specific area or need

Yes. Tai chi is perhaps one of the oldest, most effective martial arts from which many others were developed.

When initially learning any art or sport we often make mistakes. We learn to practice correcting our mistakes and enhance our abilities through practice.

So, in the beginning the answer is no.

Although we do not want to continue to practice the wrong way of doing something for any length of time. That is why we should learn under the experience of a knowledgeable SIFU.

Energy is led by intention, as we put our attention on our intention, so begins our journey to self-mastery and good health...
